Mary oversees all financial, sales, legal, and operational activities. She handles human resources, contract administration, bonding, purchasing, and company benefits, along with maintaining office procedures, safety procedures, computer systems, and field staff support. Mary’s background and experience includes project management ($25K to $50 Million in size), construction management, Auto‐CAD, and computer services. She has over 33 years of project management experience. Mary has a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor’s of Science, Management Information Systems from Widener University. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a Board-of-Director on the National Association of Women in Construction Eastern PA chapter (NAWIC) and nationally certified as a Women‐Owned Business Enterprise (WBENC). Mary is OSHA 30 Certified.
VP Field Operations & Superintendent
Michael’s credentials include over 35 years of successfully overseeing all phases of multimillion‐dollar construction projects for government, commercial, industrial, and public‐sector clients. Mike has a strong working knowledge of the industry’s best practices in installation and operation of HVAC systems. Mike’s experience includes managing small to large crews in boiler installations, building improvements, fuel oil tank installations, cooling towers, air conditioning initiatives and a variety of other construction/demolition projects. Mike has a proven track record of high‐quality construction project completions, on-time and within budget. He holds a Master HVACR license in DE, and Master Plumbing license in PA. Mike recently completed an intense two week Advanced Leadership Institute program at Babson College to help broaden his leadership skills. Mike is OSHA 30 Certified.
Michele is responsible for account management, tax preparation, and project support including bid documentation, customer project documentation, bond requests, vehicle and fleet management, and generally everything our office needs to run smoothly! She has worked in the accounting and bookkeeping fields for over 25 years, previously overseeing the accounts payable records for leading corporations in communications, specialty healthcare and telemarketing. Michele is an invaluable team member!
Drew has nearly a decade of project management and construction experience. He is responsible for pre‐bid evaluations, job estimates, purchasing of equipment and supplies, and planning and executing of the projects. Drew has developed an excellent rapport with our vendors and subcontractors and works with them to get what is needed for each job. As Project Manager, Drew is engaged at the beginning of the project and continues through the project life‐cycle to ensure the project is successful during every step of the way. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from LaSalle University. In addition, Drew has completed the Mechanical Contractors Association, Project Management program. Drew is OSHA 30 certified.
Assistant Project Manager
Kyle has four years broad based experience in the field of building construction and maintenance. He has been with GEM Mechanical since April 2014. Kyle is currently enrolled in Drexel University’s School of Engineering, Construction Management program with an anticipated graduation in 2018. Kyle is responsible for attending pre‐bid meetings, and assisting the Project Manager in job estimating, and purchasing of equipment and supplies. Kyle is OSHA 30 certified.
